Using as many natural ingredients as possible, our essential oil and botanical extracts are ethically & sustainably sourced from reputable suppliers right here in the UK, whose products do not directly contribute to deforestation or negligent destruction of non-sustainable resources.

Our bottles and jars are made from Amber Glass, not only because they are beautiful and do a great job protecting our products, but also because Amber Glass is environmentally friendly & fully recyclable. 

​

Our bottle tops are made from BPA free polypropylene plastic which is fully recyclable and has one of the lowest carbon footprints compared to other plastics. 

​

Our sustainable postal packaging boxes are fully recyclable & biodegradable.

We use high quality, sustainable, fully recyclable & biodegradable wood wool to pack out your skincare boxes/bags to protect your products during transport, whilst still protecting our environment too.

We are continuously striving to further improve our efforts to encourage a more sustainable planet, and are always searching for new, natural, and eco friendly ways to improve our products and our packaging.

We have recently launched a 'Return, Replace & Reuse' re-fill scheme to enable customers who are purchasing like-for-like products to return their empty glass bottles, keep and reuse their pump, spray & dropper tops when they purchase a re-fill bottle with an eco-friendly aluminium cap, & receive a 5% discount voucher to use on like-for-like refills with aluminium caps.

This is to help us reduce the waste of plastic tops.

*At the moment our 'Return, Replace & Reuse' scheme is available for customers returning the bottles to The AJS Studio in person, or by post, at their own cost. We hope to offer free bottle returns in the future.
