Create your own mid-week recharge ritual by adapting our foundations to fit your routine, or feel free to follow ours if that works for you! We choose Wednesday evening for our mid-week recharge as we find this is the day our body, skin & mind yearns for a moment for our self & benefits from a boost of motivation to help us get the most from the rest of our week!

Each week is different, some weeks are more challenging than others and some weeks we have more time than others ... but the concept of our mid-week recharge ritual is that time is to be made, as much as is possible, to give your physical & mental self a boost.

Try using our Mid-Week Recharge Ritual to revitalise your skin, nourish your body & recharge your mind, remembering that by establishing a healthy dedication to your self, you are able to thrive, and avoid fatigue & burnouts.

Before your Mid-Week Recharge Ritual begins. 

  1. Prepare a nourishing, hearty meal, we suggest something simple yet satisfying ... a one-pot meal that can sit patiently in the oven & be there for you, when you are ready. This allows you to remain in your relaxed state & really enjoy your meal, after your Ritual.

  2. Set up a comfy space, gather all tools & products, light a candle & put on your choice of music.​ By having everything you need at hand, you enhance the experience of your ritual, as you will stay in both your space physically & the moment mentally throughout.

*What you will need - 2 x Bowls of warm/hot water, small soft towel, coral sponges, roller / gua sha / your choice of massage tools (you can also use your hands so these are not a necessity).

Products - Botanic.Oil Wash & Cleanse, Earth's Facial Scrub, Botanic.Oil Facial Oil, Kaolin & Pink Clay Regenerating Face Mask, Rose Aloe Toner, Cell Renew Moisturiser.

Start your Recharge Ritual. 

  1. Begin with Botanic.Oil Face wash & cleanse, as with your usual evening routine, start with your cream base until it 'sticks' to the skin, apply warm water to the palms and massage until your cleanser turns to oil and is moving easily over the face, ensure all make up residue is fully lifted from the skin if you are wearing make up, rinse your face well using your natural sponges with warm water from bowl one and repeat the process for your double cleanse, finishing step one by rinsing the skin with fresh warm water from your second bowl.

  2. Follow with Earth's facial Scrub, a small amount rubbed between the finger tips and buffed gently over the skin in circular motions, adding a little water to the finger tips to keep the product moving with ease, releasing skin nourishing oils & mind soothing scent from the essential oil blend.

  3. When the skin is fully rinsed using your second bowl of warm water, it is time to move onto step 3. Apply 3-4 drops of facial oil to the palms of your hands, warm gently by spreading the oil over the palms and finger tips, then pressing directly on the face and neck, apply the warmed oil to the skin. At this point you can choose to use your massage tools, or using your hands & finger tips gently massage the face & neck, focusing on high tension areas such as around the eyes, the jaw line & the back of the neck. Your massage is yours to adapt, following one rule only ... always work outwards from the centre line of the face to ensure lymphatic drainage, and the successful removal of toxins, as this will help to reduce puffiness & fluid retention.

  4. Now you are fully relaxed, and sinking nicely into your chair ... we are going to apply your face mask, remove a scoop of mask about the size of a hazelnut from the jar and deposit it onto the back of your hand, this will help warm up the mask. Using your face mask brush, or the tips of your fingers, apply the mask generously & evenly across the whole face & neck ... remembering to always treat your neck with the same care as your face. Allow the mask to work its magic for 10-15 minutes of total you-time ... whether you spend this 15 minutes meditating, reading, journalling or you just simply would like to close your eyes, you-time is exactly that, time for you to do what you would like to do.

  5. When your 15 minutes of magic are complete, and your skin has absorbed an abundance of goodness, gather yourself a fresh bowl of warm water, soak your sponges and gently pressing them onto the face and gliding them outwards from the centre line (as with your massage) remove the reside of face mask.

  6. Follow with a spritz of your subtly scented Rose Aloe Toner over the face and neck from a few inches away, balancing your skin pH, and strengthening your skins natural protection barrier (lipid barrier). Take a few deep breaths, breathing in the uplifting rose essential oil to signal the rounding up of your ritual.

  7. Finally finishing with the last step, apply your final layer of indulgence ... smooth 1-2 pumps of cell renew cream moisturiser across the face & neck. Completing your Recharge Ritual & reminding you that You are the most important project you are working on, always!  

 

  • Now, scoop up some of your pre-prepared hearty nourishment from the oven, and feed your body. Root veg, earthy herbs & warming spices are the perfect combination for a wholesome mid-week meal, that feels like a warm hug!​
