Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

Following checkout you will receive a confirmation email of your order being received. You will then receive a follow up email when your product(s) have been dispatched from AJS, this will be following a cleared payment, which usually take 2 business days.

We use Royal Mail to deliver all of our parcels as we have found them to be the most efficient and cost effective delivery service so far. We will supply you with a tracking number, in your follow up email, to enable you to follow your parcel from the moment it leaves us at AJS, until it reaches your door.

We use Royal Mail courier collection service to take your product(s) right from 'The AJS Studio' door, to your address.

ALL orders will have courier collection arranged within 2 working days from a cleared payment.

Our STANDARD (3-5 working days) delivery service is to Mainland UK only. If you are outside mainland UK please contact us before purchasing to ensure we are able to provide postage to your address. We do not accept any liability for delayed delivery caused by any third party fault. All delivery timescales we quote to you are indicative only and not a guarantee. 

We have a flat rate delivery charge of £3.99 per order, regardless of size or weight for Standard UK mainland shipping. Orders over £65 will automatically be given FREE STANDARD DELIVERY at checkout. 

 

We use sustainable eco friendly postage boxes, and wood wool filling to ensure your products arrive safely and are not damaged during delivery, each component of our postal packaging is fully recyclable & biodegradable.

Although we hope to expand into Europe soon, at this current time we only sell within the UK due to import and export laws.

If any of our botanical skincare products are unexpectedly out of stock at the time of your order being received we will contact you to inform you that we will dispatch this part of your order when the product is back in stock, our products are made in small batches to ensure quality and therefore we do not hold large amounts of stock. We do however monitor inventory very closely and update the website accordingly.

Please note once your order leaves AJS it is then your property and we do not accept any responsibility for orders that cannot be delivered due to incorrect address entry, so we advise you please double check your address and all other information is correct before you confirm your order.

Return & Exchange Policy

AJS offers a FULL REFUND for the cost of the purchased product(s) only, excluding original delivery costs, for any unopened, unused products, returned, within 14 days from the day the order is received by you, according to the postal tracking information, should you be unhappy, unsatisfied of just simply change your mind.

 

We will issue a full refund within 14 days from the day the returned goods arrive back at 'The AJS Studio', providing the product(s) are returned to us in the same resalable condition that they leave 'The AJS Studio'. The customer will be responsible for the return delivery costs in this instance, and we will not issue a refund until acceptance of the returned goods has been made by AJS.

Please contact us BEFORE RETURNING any products, for returns information and instructions, via out contact page.

In the unlikely event of receiving a faulty product, a FULL REFUND or REPLACEMENT of the same product (or a product of equal value, should we not be able to offer the exact product) will be issued at no extra cost to yourself, upon us receiving the faulty product back. AJS must be notified of the faulty product within 14 days from the day the order is received by you, according to the postal tracking information. The customer will be expected to pay the return postage costs, until we confirm the product is faulty, and should we deem the product at fault, we will then issue a FULL REFUND or REPLACEMENT and a REFUND of the return postage costs within 14 days from the day the returned goods arrive back at 'The AJS Studio'.

AJS do not accept liability for any product that is DAMAGED during transit. Once the product leaves 'The AJS Studio' it becomes the customers responsibility. We use high quality, protective packaging to minimise the risk of damaged products. Should you have any dispute regarding postal damage to goods, you must contact the delivery provider.
